Why Raven Herron & Company?

I joined the staff of Raven A. Herron & Company, P.C. on July 5th of 2016. The opportunity to join her team came at the right moment in my life and I jumped. I have always wanted to gain more knowledge in the CPA world and when the chance to work for a real public accounting firm opened up I was so excited. It has been challenging but rewarding at the same time. My favorite part of my job is being able to help people and at Raven A Herron & Company I am given the freedom to do that.

Why Me?

Why not? I have the perfectionist personality and a hard-working drive about me. I see the accounting world as a puzzle needing to be solved. Puzzles are fun! Accounting is fun!

What makes me Capable?

I began my bookkeeping career while working for a small business in Granite Shoals, TX in 2001. I thought counting money and learning how to process payroll by hand was fun and decided then that was what I wanted to do. In 2003, I moved to Midland, TX where I joined Advantage Payroll Services, and had the chance to work for an oil company handling their payroll accounts. In January 2009, I moved back to Marble Falls, TX where I worked with different small businesses around the area to continue learning more in the bookkeeping and accounting field. Raven’s company has taught me way more than I could ever ask for, and I appreciate it so much.

About me

I have four boys. It can be exhausting at times, but it has been enjoyable. I would not change it for anything in the world. When I can take time for myself, I enjoy crafts or spending time with my family.
